Ahh! I don’t know if you have noticed, but this is the 4th photography post I’ve had in two weeks. I’ll start by saying, I’m my biggest critic (as I’m sure, we all are). But I have been so amazed by all the amazing feedback so far. Thank you to anyone who took the time to comment, message and text me saying they enjoyed my work! As a growing artist, it means the world.
Today’s post is of my friend, Hirsa. We met at community college, and we always joke that we became friends by force! Haha – let me explain. Making friends at community college can be tricky, but when I met Hirsa, I was really impressed by her work ethic. And I’ve always been told to surround myself with like-minded people, so naturally we became friends! Both of us being Iranian, we bonded over jokes we can share in class in Persian (for those with friends of the same race, isn’t that the best thing ever? No one ever knows what you’re saying haha). I’m extremely proud to share that Hirsa will be attending Cal this fall! How amazing is that, please send her some love!
During this shoot, we randonly stumbled across the most amazing gazebo and I swear I felt alive taking pictures in there! I really hope you enjoy these images. And hopefully I can keep the ball rolling on all these shoots. Enjoy. xoxo.
Until next time,
