Prom season is officially here. Girls everywhere eagerly wait to get asked, watch their carbs, and fantasize about walking down the stairs to see their date awaiting them. Sure it’s over glorified, but it’s a classic american coming of age.
This year, Nordstroms BP (the junior department) is coming in full force with a line of amazing prom dresses. With being apart of the Nordstrom fashion board, I was given the opportunity of being in this years prom fashion show. I got my makeup done by the Bobbie Brown counter and the dress I wore was designed by Adrianna Papell which runs for about $118+tax.
Here are a few photos from the event (March 16th) – I’m in the coral high low dress, Katie is in the turquoise, and Jenny is in the black and white lace print. Enjoy!
Also, for kicks I added some pictures from my Junior prom last year ♥ My dress was Laundry by Shelli Segal and my heels were Steve Madden. The dress I wore was one I had found and fell in love with two years prior to prom, it was such a thrill finally being able to purchase it and have an occasion to wear it to! By far, my favorite part of prom was getting ready and taking pictures with my girlfriends. Although it wasn’t romantic, spending the night with Jacob, a really good friend, made it all the more special. Prom is what you make of it, if you choose to bring drama along or freak out about every little thing, the night won’t be enjoyable. My advice is to dress in what makes you feel confident and beautiful and only focus on having a good time! Merry prom season ladies!
