I was feeling so ill, I couldn’t bring myself to get dressed to go to school. It also happened to be senior ditch day, coincidence? I think not ; )
The high anticipation for senior ditch day did not fall short to deliver a glorious day of laughter and fun in the sun. I really don’t have much profoundness to share about the day, but I can testify that it was one of the best days of high school. Four years of hard work, and we were finally able to enjoy the end of it and feel free. We giggled, gasped, and sang all day. Roughly 120 of my classmates and I ventured to Davenport Beach, and then later to Seabright beach to soak up the sun. And, of course, ditch day wouldn’t be a proper ditch day with out some classic “Ferris Bueller’s day off” kind of drama. We were kicked off the beach just a few hours into our celebration, for reasons I’m sure you can gather on your own. But not to worry, we packed up camp and ventured off to another beach on the coast of California. If only every day was senior ditch day.
Please enjoy the few shots I was able to capture from the day’s activities and comment below what you enjoyed, or, if you have experienced a senior ditch day yourself, how your experience contrasted from mine.
