As informative as the convention was with all the classes about photography, writing, editing, and so forth – that was far from the highlight. After running from class to class each day at the convention, we found a lot of free time to explore the city in the afternoon and through the evening. And of course, being a teenager means that all of it was spent eating, shopping, and looking for eye candy. These pictures only cover a portion of what we did. So much was jam packed into this short 3 day trip. I still hope you enjoy the photographs ♥
After editing and placing these photos into this post, I’m struct with how much I will miss being apart of my yearbook family. Being honored with the position of Photography Editor meant I was always involved with the other Editors in preparation for the book. My life at points really became; eat · sleep · yearbook. I’ll especially miss traveling to meet 5,000 other students from across the country who have the same passion for their own publications. I really hope to be apart of something like this in my years to come, whether it be in college or university. Yearbook showed me how much I adored telling stories through photographs.
Comment if you enjoyed these little snap shots of my short weekend away. And if you are interested, here are the other parts to my #YerdsUnite Series.
